Green and Boundless

Walking towards the mountains

On September 4, 2022, the exhibition "Boundless Green, Walking towards the Mountains" opened at the Tan Gu Slow Flash Art Museum. More than 50 artists were invited to showcase various art forms such as traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, imaging, and digital art, presenting contemporary artists' perceptions, perceptions, and expressions of mountains from different perspectives.

The works presented in the exhibition not only reflect the perception and continuation of traditional mountain culture and worldview, but also reflect the new associations, empathy, and expression of modern people towards mountains and rivers. At the same time, there are also works that use contemporary art creation techniques and new media technologies to recreate traditional art objects. These different imaginations and expressions, as well as diverse artistic styles, collectively form a cohesive contemporary mountain imagery, converging into an artistic conception that resonates with both sensibility and rationality, tradition and modernity.

The exhibition hall is not spacious, but the curatorial team put a lot of effort into planning the exhibition. Upon entering the main exhibition hall, one is greeted by grass covering the ground, with lush greenery that gives a sense of sudden enlightenment. Small rabbits occasionally emerge from the grass, accompanied by the chirping of grasshoppers and crickets, creating a natural atmosphere and vitality throughout the exhibition space; Standing in such a space and looking up to appreciate the works created by artists with the theme of "mountains", it is more immersive, and the audience can simultaneously experience both physical and mental satisfaction in the exhibition.
