Guan Tang Art District

The First Art Season-Paradise on Earth

On September 15, 2018, the first art season "Peach Blossom Spring" of Guantang Art District opened. This art museum hidden in a garden is inspired by Tao Yuanming's "Peach Blossom Spring" and plans its first large-scale group exhibition. By bringing art back to daily life and the natural environment from an artistic space, "Peach Blossom Spring" explores the interactive relationship between art, space, and people. As the first art season of the Tang Art District, the "Peach Blossom Garden" can be said to be a collective imagination of artists about the "Peach Blossom Garden", an ideal world for Chinese people. The Tang Dynasty Art District seems to intentionally enter the contemporary art world in a low-key manner, with a more pure attitude towards participating in art, with a hidden location and a theme of emergence.

In Tao Yuanming's "Peach Blossom Spring", fishermen discovered the Peach Blossom Spring along a small stream lined with peach groves and colorful fallen petals, but when they returned, they found nowhere else to look. The outdoor public sculpture exhibition planned by artist Lu Zhengyuan cleverly blends the arrangement of space and flow with the text, from "seeking traces" to "blooming colors" and then to "lost tracks", changing scenery step by step and delving deeper.
