花家地双年展

Hua Jiadi Biennale

“艺术家以一个展览的方式进行创作，在北京一个非常普通日常的出租公寓里，邀请了百余名国内外的艺术家的作品，举行了一个名为“双年展”的展览。在这间不足50平米的一室一厅内，作品并没有按照一个常规的展厅“被显著”的陈列，而是经过艺术家精心的安排，是作品隐匿在这个日常空间中，而难以被察觉。当观众步入这件出租屋内时，感受到的仍是一间正在使用状态的地方而非展厅。而作品的观看被观众的寻找代替，作品变为深入空间内部的理由，作品在日常的状态下被重新定义。”

The artist showed his talents and ideas in an exhibition. In a very ordinary rental apartment in Beijing, he invited hundreds of artists form home and abroad to hold an exhibition called “Biennale’’. In the small room, which was less than 50 square meters, the works are not arranged generally like a conventional exhibition but are carefully arranged by the artist. Works are hidden in the normal space and are hard to perceive. When the audience enter the rental house, they will find it is a normal house rather than an exhibition hall. Moreover, the direct visual enjoyment is replaced by the search of the audience.
